Village of Whiting Municipal Center, Whiting, WI
Highway expansion forced the Village of Whiting to relocate its municipal facilities to a new building complex including administrative offices, public meeting rooms, and a fire station. Built in a more residential location fronting three city streets, the new building's design had to blend aesthetically with its new residential surroundings.

Energy-saving thermal block, used throughout the building, will help keep future maintenance costs low. A fire house tower is a unique construction feature. Built to dry giant fire hoses between uses, a 2.5 ton chain hoist is installed at the top of the tower to lift and hang hoses.
